About Segue

Segue Resources Ltd (ASX code: SEG) is a minerals exploration and development company focused on the Emang Manganese Project in South Africa and the iron ore potential at its 100% owned Pardoo Project in the world-class Pilbara iron ore province of Western Australia.

The Emang Manganese Project lies within the Postmasburg Manganese Field, which hosts several major manganese deposits and is part of the largest manganese producing region in South Africa.  Segue’s aim is to discover manganese mineralisation capable of supporting a 500,000 – 1,000,000 tonne per annum operation for at least 10 years.  Historical mining on the project area and initial exploration results support this objective.

The Pardoo Project is highly prospective for both buried magnetite and nickel sulphide mineralisation.  The resource model at the Highway deposit was updated in early 2010, with new estimated total Inferred Mineral Resource at Highway of 50.0 million tonnes, grading 0.30% nickel, 0.13% copper and 0.03% C (at a 0.1% Ni cut off grade).

Segue is funding new exploration of the nickel and non-iron ore potential at the Pardoo Project through a joint venture with Red October Resources Limited.
